A beautiful and unique conifer native to the colder, wetter regions of North America and Canada. It is the only conifer that is deciduous, or looses all its leaves in the fall. Needle-like leaves are in clusters of 12 - 30 along the branches. Tree turn a bright yellow color in the fall prior to leaf drop. Grows to a height of 40 - 80 ft tall and prefers wet to boggy soils.
